Maria designs it. AI builds it. You approve one thing and it's live.
The result is a site that loads in under a second, has nothing to hack and nothing to update, and can be changed in minutes instead of waiting on a developer. After 25 years building websites the traditional way, this is the move we've made.
We built our first website in 1999 and we've built hundreds since: hand-coded at first, then WordPress for most of the last fifteen years.
WordPress was the right answer for a long time. It stopped being the right answer for small businesses somewhere around 2023. A typical small-business WordPress site now runs fifteen to twenty plugins, needs a security plugin to protect the other plugins, slows down every time one updates, and breaks when two disagree. The owner pays for hosting, pays for maintenance, and still ends up with a site that scores badly on Google's speed tests and gets hacked if anyone forgets a password.
In 2026 AI got good enough to write the code for a whole website from a designer's layout. That changes what a website is. It can be a set of plain, fast pages with no database, no login and no plugins, because there's no longer any reason to pay for the complexity. The design is still a designer's work. The build is done by AI, and checked by a person.
We rebuilt our own site this way first. You're looking at it.
No plugins, no page builder, no database queries. This page scores TODO: PageSpeed mobile score once live on Google's own speed test. Most WordPress small-business sites we audit score in the 30s and 40s. Speed is a ranking factor and it's the first thing a visitor notices.
A static site has no admin login, no database and no PHP, which is where WordPress attacks go. There's no security plugin because there's nothing for one to protect.
No plugin updates, no theme updates, no “your site needs attention” emails. The site you launch is the site you have in three years.
Text changes, a new team member, a new service: we make them and they're live within the hour. No developer queue.
Clean pages with clear headings and structured data are the easiest thing for Google and for AI tools like ChatGPT to read and cite. The same work that makes the site fast makes it easy to find. AI Search →
Maria lays out every site on a canvas, for your business, before anything is built. It isn't a template with your logo dropped in. See our own homepage for what that looks like.
The fixed-price site
For most small businesses, that's what a website is. So that's what we've made a fixed price for.
SSL certificate, daily offsite backups plus version history of every change, uptime monitoring, security headers, small text changes, a quarterly report of where you show up in Google and in AI answers, and a professional email address (name@yourbusiness.ie) that works in Outlook, Apple Mail or on your phone, with webmail at webmail.yourbusiness.ie.
Don't have a domain yet? We'll register a .ie or .com for you for €25 a year on top, in your name. We're a registered IEDR reseller, so .ie registrations are handled directly.
Anything that needs a database, a login, payments or product listings: online shops, booking systems with payment, member areas, custom calculators. Those are proper projects and we quote them properly. If you need one, say so on the call. Embeds don't count: a booking calendar, a chatbot, a map, a video, a reviews widget all fit inside the fixed price.
Case study one
webworks.ie, October 2026. Designed by Maria, built with AI, hosted for a few euro a month. Every claim on this page is a thing we did to our own site first.
Next: bpss-clearance.co.uk, one of our own UK sites, rebuilt the same way. TODO: add when live, with before/after speed scores
Before AI, there was a lot of hand-built work, and we're proud of it. A few of the sites we designed and built the traditional way.

No. Maria designs every site for the business it's for, on a canvas you approve before anything is built. AI builds what she designs; it doesn't choose the design.
You can, if you want to: the site is plain files you own, and we'll show you how. Most clients find it easier to send us the change, since small text changes are included in hosting and are usually live within the hour.
We rebuild it. Your content comes across, your old addresses are redirected so you keep your Google rankings, and the WordPress install is retired. Most clients notice the speed first.
Not for new projects. If you need something WordPress does well, such as a large shop with complex stock, we'll say so on the call and tell you who to talk to.
Yes. The domain is in your name (including one we register for you), the files are yours, and if you ever leave you take them with you.
Yes. If you're on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, we point your domain at it and leave it alone. If you're still on a Gmail or Hotmail address for the business, hosting includes a proper name@yourbusiness.ie address; extra mailboxes are a small yearly charge.
Every old page is redirected to its new equivalent before launch, so links and rankings carry over.
That's a project rather than the fixed-price site, because it needs a database and payments. We quote those individually. A booking link or a payment button that goes to someone else's system (Stripe, Square, Calendly) fits in the fixed price.
