Anyone can buy clicks.
We make them turn into leads.
A click costs money. A lead makes money. The gap between the two is where most Google Ads budgets disappear.
We run the ads, and we work on what happens after the click: the page the visitor lands on, what it asks them to do, and whether they do it. Then we track it, so you know exactly what you spent, how many leads you got, and what each one cost. Nearly 20 years of Google Ads. Every account run by John, not a junior.
A fully informed client
Three numbers that matter.
What you spent. How many leads or sales that bought. What each one cost. Where the data's available, the sale value too. Clarity on where the money goes. No vanity metrics.
As it is for Checkback International. The report shows cost per enquiry. Once the form's in, the lead is yours to close.
As it is for myvetting.com. The report shows cost per sale and, where we can, what the sale was worth.
What's included
Research.
The searches your customers actually use, what competitors bid on, and the searches to block before they waste a cent.
Ads, tested.
Written and run against each other. The winners stay.
Landing pages.
We build websites too, so the page your ad sends people to is part of the service, not an extra. This is where clicks become leads.
Tracking.
Calls, forms and sales tracked in Google Ads and GA4, so Google's bidding learns from real leads, not page views.
Management every month.
Search terms, bids, budgets, ads. Google's automation is useful but it is not set-and-forget.
Bing, once Google's working.
Copied across at little extra cost. Small market, often very profitable: in many workplaces people can't install Chrome, so they search on Edge and Bing by default. For B2B that's traffic Google never sees.
A plain-English report.
Spend, leads, cost per lead, what moved, what's next.
How much should I spend?
Enough for Google to learn. Google Ads works by finding out, over time, who your customers are, and it needs a decent flow of traffic to do that. As a rough guide, €30–40 a day is where most national campaigns start to work; a local business can get away with less. John will give you a real figure for your market on the call.
You own your account.
Ad spend goes directly to Google and Microsoft, not through us. The account is in your name and stays yours; John works in it with admin access. Google's invoices come to you, so you always know what went to Google and what came to Webworks.
Is it a good fit? Google Ads works best when a new customer is worth a few hundred euro or more and people search for what you sell: trades, professional services, clinics, local services, B2B. If your margins are small, or nobody searches for your product yet, John will tell you on the first call and suggest what to do first. Search ads are the core of what we do; we've run Performance Max where it fits, and we don't do Shopping or display as a service.
How we start
- 01Book a callWhat you sell, what a customer is worth, what you spend now.
- 02Audit or planIf you run ads, John reads the account first. If not, he maps the searches and budget worth starting with.
- 03Build and launchCampaigns, ads, landing page, tracking. Approved by you.
- 04Manage and reportEvery month. Bing added once Google is working. Monthly billing, no contract.
“Our target market is all of the UK. All of our website traffic was coming from expensive Adwords traffic. We got little or no organic traffic. We went looking for an SEO company and found Webworks. We now rank in the top 3 in the UK for many key phrases. This has allowed us to reduce the spend on Adwords.”
Questions people ask
How soon will I see results?
Clicks within days. The first month is build and learning; results usually improve over the following months as the data builds.
Why do you keep changing things?
Because that's the job. Google learns who your customers are over time, and we help it by testing ad copy, landing page copy and search terms. Accounts that are left alone drift.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. Monthly billing.
Do you do Facebook or Instagram ads?
No. Search only, on Google and Bing. If you need social ads, tell John and he'll put you in touch with someone who does them well.
How do AI Overviews affect my ads?
They take clicks from the free listings. Ads still appear at the top of the page, which is one reason paid search matters more now, not less.
Can you also do SEO?
Yes. Ads bring enquiries now; SEO and AI Search build traffic you don't pay per click for. Many clients do both. SEO → · AI Search →
